TOTALLY SUBVERSIVE
CREATIVE MUSIC RECORDING

COMING TO DENTON TEXAS

WHY WE EXIST

TO TREAT creative MUSICIANS LIKE ACTUAL PEOPLE

Our studio was built to offer high quality recording services at affordable prices to creative musicians - all in the spirit of the intentionally-designed comfortable analog recording houses of yore. Our studio lives in a modernized century-old prairie house located in beautiful downtown Aubrey, Texas.

We offer a 500 sq ft "live" room, a 250 sq ft room, and a 200 sq ft control/"dead" room. We are 84% analog.
Fun fact: We are 100% powered by renewable energy.

SERVICES

RECORDING
We offer a hands-on "quality over quantity" approach to professional audio tracking and production services in comfortable, acoustically pleasing spaces.

MIXING
On tour? Don’t live nearby? No worries. Our excellent staff and control room will still help get the most from your mix and post-production*.

*We don’t (and probably never will) offer mastering services. However, we have some extremely talented friends that do and we’d be happy to send you their way.

OUR GEAR

Recording is all about audio processing. And to us, audio processing means making sure the ending signal sounds slightly more magical than the beginning signal. Which is you, by the way. When a track comes together, it needs to be more than the sum of its parts. And that little bit of extra? It's magic.

...So, we've handpicked some of the best available options to make the magic.
